August has been a little slower than usual.

With my son at home, the days naturally took on a different rhythm. I was able to spend more time with him, which made these weeks especially lovely, while my time in the studio became a little slower and quieter. Still, even at a slower pace, the work has continued.

I have been studying new compositions, making drawings, and also completing a few new paintings. It has been lovely to work without too much hurry, allowing ideas a little more space and time to develop.

This month has also been a time of preparation for what is coming in the months ahead. I am already working towards a new event in November, and as August slowly comes to an end, I find myself thinking about something new taking shape, this time in Paris.

I cannot say much about it just yet, but I am very happy with what is coming together.

Perhaps August has reminded me of something quite simple: it is not always about how many hours we spend in the studio, but about how we arrive in those hours. Sometimes, working more slowly, with a quieter and more open mind, allows things to emerge in a much more natural way.

And so, even slowly, the work continues.
